Overview
Watering Reminder ("the App") is designed with your privacy in mind. All of your data — including plant information and photos — stays on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.
Data Storage
All plant data — including plant names, watering dates, and reminder settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your data never leaves your device.
Camera & Photos
The App allows you to take photos of your plants using your device's camera. These photos are stored locally on your device in the app's Documents directory and are explicitly excluded from iCloud backup. Photos are never uploaded, shared, or transmitted to any external server. The App requests camera access only when you choose to add or change a plant photo.
Notifications
The App uses local notifications to remind you when it's time to water your plants. Notification scheduling is handled entirely on-device. No data is sent to any remote notification service operated by us.

- Personal information (name, email, address)
- Location data
- Usage analytics or tracking data
- Advertising identifiers
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect data from children. Because no personal data is collected from any user, the App is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
